The first night we stayed in Calvi and Porto Vecchio in the week following the last day, alas (because last!), In Sartene.

Oh yes .. not entirely clear why we had not yet decided where we would stop. Our goal was to visit that area of \u200b\u200bthe island and stay in one of the nice places we have seen previously from home via the internet.
first thing that surprised us were the limits sonon Speed! Country roads are almost, but very well maintained and fast type Praglia or bands (but with more 'ups and downs ..) is always the limit of 90 per hour! But can you imagine! We here there is a limit of 50! That limit was sometimes too large to tackle some corners a bit more 'challenging! When the curve becomes dangerous, then the limit dropped to 70! During his stay then we discovered that there was also the limit of 110 on state! Really without words!
The beauty is that I've always been I do not know how many cars passed by, they were all pilots, cut all the curves, all seemed in a hurry! When there was a little 'tail with a car that proceeded the typical plan sentence you could say was: "Behold! An Italian!" : D
Oh well, we omit the brackets racing vacation and let us go directly near bald! To expect, when the road goes along ... um ... the coast ... : P The view is breathtaking! We are very high above the sea and you can see the entire coastline and sunny in distance to the sea with impressive colors! Dark blue hue in the clear blue Caribbean style!

We need a road to Bastia and then descend again to the east coast of the island. A road along the sea really nice, but with few places where you can stop and spend a week ... say that this is the worst coast. The great part is that in the south and west. One of the last day we went for a boat ride. All organized, really nice! You spent the whole day on a boat, with several stages. The package also includes breakfast and lunch there, and especially wine! : D

On this tour we have, among a group of small islands, a spectacle of nature! We stopped for lunch of fish and then we could take a nap on the beach of one of these islands.
After about 2 hours we took the way home. 
As you can see in the latter picture the gulls here are the scavengers!
In fact, the leftover food was thrown into the sea where a lot of fish fed copiously. Gulls in their time, falling in the water ate the fish!
Since this post has taken a lot but really a lot of time to get published, I see no reason to continue it ... The holidays were wonderful, but when I finish these words and lots of water 'under the bridge and it' s incredible to think how many things have changed from Corsica now!
